Welcome to Women’s Ministry… we’re glad you’re here! Calvary Chapel Turlock’s Women’s Ministry exists to encourage, build up, and equip the ladies of our fellowship and the ladies in our community to successfully fulfill their calling as women. We have been carefully designed and specially created by God to fulfill a unique role in humanity. Thankfully, the Lord has been clear and specific in His word, as to what our role as women is. The Lord and His Word are the cornerstone of Women’s Ministry, for we sincerely believe what Paul teaches us in 2 Tim 3:16-17 - “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the woman of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” Our heart is to be encouraged, built up, and equipped to successfully exercise our calling by following the model that the early church gave us, as laid out in Acts 2:42 - “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine (studying and applying God’s word) and fellowship (special events and Ladies’ Study), in the breaking of bread (eating together and communion), and in prayers (both one on one and corporately).” All women from every walk of life, in any stage of life, are always welcome here at Calvary Chapel Turlock. Know that YOU are invited to join us as we worship and serve the Lord, study His Word, build godly relationships, and become the women that the Lord has uniquely designed us to be! Our Ladies Studies, special events, and service/ministry opportunities will be announced from time to time on Sunday mornings, through fliers, and via this website, so check back often. These are wonderful opportunities to meet other women, serve the Body of Christ, and grow in your relationship with Jesus.
Be encouraged! Women’s Ministry does not exist to keep us busy or fill our day planners with more ‘stuff’, but to simply obey, serve, and glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in all He calls us to do and be as women. This is His church and His Women’s Ministry. My prayer is that it will be a blessing to you! I look forward to meeting you soon, but until then….may the Lord bless and keep you!
